No reads at the table, recently moved. I would presume this is a standard fold?

Has MP1 been loose? Has there been lots of pushing over raises? Have they been getting folds? (Edit: *grumble* It seems like every post on these forums is no reads. So the answer to all three is no, and it's probably a fold, but whatever.) If more than one of these is yes, I probably call. Ace Queen is a pretty **** hand to go broke on, but like a quarter of your stack is in the pot. It's about 16k more into a pot of like 33k, and with these stack sizes, JJ-77, AJ are likely in his range.

This is why I hate ace queen. I see Ace King more here than I see Ace Jack. And everything else is a race or I am dominated (QQ KK AA)

You are getting 2-1 pot odds and you have AQ, so call and hope for the best.

I posted almost the same situation from a live tournament where 2nd position raised 4xBB and I pushed from 4th position with QQ. 2nd position had AQo and was getting 2-1 pot odds. 3nd position was the table chip leader by a big margin and I was 2nd. He called, and said he did that because he thought I might be running over the table. The consensus here was that he should have folded.

Since villain a short stack and this is the $3 rebuy rahter than a live tournament, I think it is a call.

I did infact call. I was thinking that the odds were in my favour as you say, although I thought he had a fairly big hand, JJ-AA, AK, something like that. He had kings in the end and I didn't catch.

Thanks for the responses, good to find views from everyone else.
