Question about Editing

How many minutes does one have to edit a post before it can no longer be edited? What is the reasoning behind this policy?

andy, it's in the FAQ - .5 hours, i.e. 30 minutes. That should be plenty and if it were longer, then there would be even more examples of people replying to posts only to have that post changed making some of their replies obsolete as well.
