I never lay down hands like this, but I did here. My read was only that I had played with both of these players before a few times, and they didn't get out of line. So I folded.

I call this. So, your fold turned out good?

Bet, raise, re-raise on that board. Don't see that too often on a board like that.

If your read is correct, I'd have to say that you made a nice laydown.

But I wouldn't expect too many other people on this site to agree with it. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

wow, nice lay down. I guess you're up against 2 FH's... that is discipline, but the 2 villains were shouting "I have you beaten, no I have you beaten!"

i wouldn't fold in this situation. however, the pot wouldn't be this big if were playing this hand either.

What good is a worthless brag post without the brag?

I can't recall ever folding anything like this in 3000+ SNGs though, so if there is a lesson to be learned here, it is do not make this laydown.

Probably a good fold. I would make the turn bet smaller.

What would you have done to make the pot smaller?

I think the OP played the hand very well. And I rarely find people's heroic laydowns are good folds. I think this is a great fold, but doubt I'd have the discipline to do it (and doubt this fact costs me much money).

I have done laydowns like this a few times and overall I'd probably would have made more chips if I never did it.

But then again, none of those times have been against two seemingly solid players in the $55s. It is probably a good fold here, but there are two flush draws and an ace out there (plus your kicker is pretty good). But with the strong message they both are sending you, your hand probably isn't good.
