You gotta confront that ish yo. Check it, see a flop, THEN ask your question.

Play some low-level MTTs. I do this occasionally as a change of pace. Much more opportunity for post-flop play, This might help you in the "pre-bubble" phase of SNGs where you don't want to sit there tight as a rock, but it's not yet time for push/fold.

Well, you can't check, since you're in the SB. Personally, I'd just complete and see a flop.

There's only a fraction of your stack (150+75+150) in the pot right now and you're risking almost your entire stack against the other bigstack over this? The downside of having the other bigstack in the hand is that you can be crippled. The UPSIDE is that you are getting great implied odds by calling and hitting your set. Minimize the risk while keeping the same possible reward by calling and seeing a flop!

Remember, be careful getting into pissing contests with the other bigstack!!! SOUND FAMILIAR?
