This game is a 2/5 blind structure, correct? Def should be folding SB more often.

I'm pretty sure I have enough implied odds to call with any hand pre-flop.

[edited to remove weak-tight advice /images/graemlins/blush.gif]
And, why are you raising pre-flop with 96s?

I don't like the all-in with the nine-high flush. Bet, to be sure, but I think that hands like /images/graemlins/spade.gifQ /images/graemlins/diamond.gifQ and /images/graemlins/spade.gifA /images/graemlins/heart.gif4 are going to give you trouble. When you shove all that money in, the only ones that are going to call are folks with bigger flushes, big flush draws, and trips.

And, why are you raising pre-flop with 96s?

[/ QUOTE ]

why is it a problem that people will call off all their money with bigger flush draws and trips in this situation?

I'll take the flush, you can have trips and we'll do the flop push situation a few hundred times ok? /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Actually, you're right, scratch that. Pushing is right on the flop. I still don't like the pre-flop play, though.

Dang it, you had to quote me, too. Now my dopeyness is going to be up there forever /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Ed Miller would probably beat me with a wet noodle if he read it /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Seriously, you are a favorite against the big draw and the set. If you can go all in and get called, then you ought to do it.

The board isn't exactly the same in these as the one in your post, but the numbers come out pretty much the same.

The ironic thing is, I'm up 80 BB tonight in the NL 25 game.

Good god I'd kill myself if I ever lost $200 @ $25nl let alone in 121 hands.
