Yes.

Should I check if there was say 3 callers or more?

There are so many other draws out there besides flush draws that I am betting that river regardless of how many callers you had.

I can't think of a place where I check this river.

This is a tough situation, but I would bet. If you have the best hand, you may make 2 more big bets. If you get check-raised you can pretty easily throw your hand away. So I see this as a risk one bet to win two situation.
The answer would also depend on what you know about the players, are they tricky or straight forward.
Really throw the hand away to a check raise? even for 1 more bet. I thought SSHE said never throw the hand away if the pot is big for 1 more bet?

raise the flop

I don't think we have the equity for this.
are you happy if the turn is the T /images/graemlins/spade.gif or A /images/graemlins/spade.gif?
Should I have raised the flop to get the free card on the turn? I thought I was getting good pot odds for a gutshot, greater than 10 to 1
not really, but the pot is big enough where I do not want to fold the turn UI and giving myself 5/6ish outs, I am not going to have the correct pot odds to call the turn. Also I would prefer it if people were not donking into me all the time, and raising them is usually a good deterent.

(9 max, 10 handed) Neat trick.
I'm just curious, when I made the flop call, did I have equity to do so? I counted 4 outs for a 10 to 1 gutshot?

don't listen to this, give in and do the crying call if check raised.
i think that raising the flop and free carding is a decent idea.

yes you can at least peel this flop

yeah you did.
i'm having trouble counting the Ace outs for much: they all complete an OESD, and the A /images/graemlins/spade.gif is troublesome (though perhaps not as much so as the T /images/graemlins/spade.gif, b/c it would take out one of the likely flush drawing hands [Ax]). So you have maybe 1.5 Ace outs and 3.5 for the tens so about 5 total.
I also agree with Adam22: your options are checking and bet/calling.

If this table was playing like the typical rock garden of Party 1/2, I would check the river here.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a reason to check the river? Like the only hand that will call you is a hand that beats you (at Party 1/2, .5/1 is a different story). I think it's obvious to the villans that hero has a least AJ.
