bad beat for momma hen...and me..

sad to report demise of wild turkey hen i have been watching sit on her nest for 23 days...she was fine yesterday morning but today nothing but feathers, eggshells, and flies buzzing...dammit...

I'm sorry to hear about Momma Hen and her little ones. I feel your pain and disappointment but in the animal kingdom they call it lunch. Just like in poker the predators eat the weak. I know first hand because they gnawed off one of my legs last week. Thanks for all the up dates on the wild kingdom they were interesting.
