Never mind every thing I just wrote... I thought the flop was AA4 - I'm going blind...

Yah I know the river call is pretty awful

bet that flop like you own it... t300.

barring that, you have little to go on for the river situation... i don't hate the call, but it'd be easier to lay down if MP3 had called a flop bet.

You know, I think I'd take the same line whether the flop was AAA or AA4 actually.

Half to 2/3 on the flop, and fold to a raise. Fold to anything resembling significant turn action. Check the river, and pay off a bet up to about half the pot. I still don't like the river call, but it's obviously less bad on an AAA board than if there were only two aces out there.

What the [censored] dude, you have the second nuts, if a guy was able to slowplay his quads on the turn knowing that I have KK and will pay off with my stack then he is world champion. You than think about folding the river if you have like... 76o.

Am I the only one that raises quite a bit more than this preflop?

I've witnessed this same situation (flop AAA) 4 times, and only once did somebody show the case ace. The other three times two or more opponents got all-in with pocket pairs vs. a paired turn or river.

In this case many players saw the flop, so a laydown is possible, but in no way is it an easy decision.

Preflop raise is fine.

I would bet 1/2 the pot on the flop.

Call the river.
