View Full Version : $22: flopped top set but flush draw on board

I read recently somewhere (on this forum) that you are throwing chips away if you play afraid of a flush draw flop against just one other person when you have flopped a monster. Should I have checked behind here? Minimum raised? Or just push and get it over with, hoping villain calls (the option I chose)?

Thanks for that. I think that's a leak in my game, not pushing hands like this in this spot.

I just lookat whats in the pot - 175 - my stack - 685 - the fact nobody has taken an interest in this hand (two limpers which means nothing, especially at a $22) and the fact I have jacks, which is bloody good.

That's just me though /images/graemlins/grin.gif

You have really helped my game, tigerite, and I intend to pay you back when I meet you at the $109s. /images/graemlins/wink.gif
