No reads. he was bigstack till i got lucky and doubled through him last hand (my AT vs his AQ).

I was hoping for a check raise on flop, but he checked it through /images/graemlins/frown.gif

What would you do on the Turn, and why?

I'd just have folded preflop, but there's no way in hell I'm checking that flop if I call.

but he was the preflop aggressor. Why bet out instead of a check raise?

and how much would you bet out for?

Why are you calling this preflop?

I would just push the flop. You got about the best flop you could want, the pot is already big and your hand is somewhat vulnerable.

Editing to add that limping in with this hand preflop is awful IMO. The blinds are too big to be dicking around like this.

I wouldn't get to this spot on the turn myself but once there I fold. Too much risk here for me considering the stack sizes.

This would be my line if I was hero.

PF: Fold it. What are you even doing here?
Flop: Personaaly I'd bet right out and try to take it down right now witha big bet. OK, you decided the go for the check raise given that he would probably continuation bet. Not bad.
Turn: Having missed the check raise, you need to define your hand. You can bet out and represent that A. If he calls or raises you know your beat and can safely fold. By checking you have no idea of whether or not you are ahead. What are you going to do? Call to the river? Fold the best hand? You just dont know. Try betting next time. By checking twice you are inducing a bet. I'd bet here with nada. Find a way to make your decisions easier.

Well he either has the ace or is bluffing. Call and re-evaluate on the river.
