How do you get motivated to keep playing?

I've gone from a 8500 bankroll to 4200 in 3 days. Just short of -400BB, this after 15 months of 2-2.5BB/100 steady progression. My bankroll is back to where I was nearly 4 months ago.

I'm so depressed.

Not gonna help, but having a bigger bankroll is how I deal with it.

Umm, I'd recommend a drop in limits for now.

you were probably playing fairly tilty (though I could be wrong). Take a little time off (few days) and drop down in limits one or two notches.

A guy sat at my 5/10 table the other night with his entire bankroll (so he claimed) and lost it all, if that makes you feel any better.

If that doesn't help, take solice in knowing that I took most of it.

p.s. drop down in limits.

Take a break. Start posting after the break. Relearn some stuff. Hit the game renewed.

Give up for a bit, and before you play again, look over the hand histories for the past three days until you find mistakes.

Also, isn't the $4300 loss like 2000bb at 1/2? Cause then you might have a good reason to be depressed.

LOL OT but that's another gem on the f$#kin blog. Looks like a 5 year old designed your site while napping but the content is A+ material. You should be a writer for family guy or the simpsons.
