According to twodimes, versus black KK:

AQd wins 31.92% of the time, and has an EV of .321
AKd wins 33.69% of the time and has an EV of .341!

How is this possible?

Could be because you win most of the time an ace comes up unless an ace and a king both come up, and holding AK lessens the occurrance of that.

two obvious reasons...

when you have AK, and an ace flops, it's less likely for KK to also make a set.

Secondly, if you have AK, easier to make a straight (AQ needs a K for many of it's straights, and two of them are dead)

4% of the time you spike an Ace, KK will spike a set, I guess.
