Okay, I've logged 333 Tourneys in 11s. I am 34.67 in the money, breaking even. I noticed that 13% of the time, I place 4th and 13% of the time, I place 5th. I guess the good thing is, I get top 5 60% of the time. I am encouraged by that and the fact that I am just 6-7 percent away from doing well enough to move up.

The question is, for you guys who are doing 40 plus in your levels, what is your percentage of 4ths and 5ths. How do mine compare?

My frustration is, obviously I'm doing something right, placing top 5 60% of the time. The beats I have been getting have been brutal on the bubble, which could mean I am suffering from variance.

So here's my typical situation. I am on the bubble with approximately 1000-1500t. Is that the problem? Am I doing something wrong earlier and arriving in the late levels with too few chips?

Ignore the statistics for now. Play ultra-tight until Level 4. When you get into push/fold mode go back through your hand histories and run hands through SNGPT. Post hands that you are unsure of.

This is a much quicker way to improve and gain confidence then staring at small sample size stats.

And to answer your question, getting to the bubble with 1000-1500 consistently is just fine.
