Choosing position

I'm only one-tabling, but when I start a new tournament, I open all the tables to see, who is multitabling. If I assume, that the multitablers are the tougher guys to beat, which position on the table should I try to acquire, where shall I sit down?
Should I sit to the left, to the right? If there are two of them sitting with one seat between them, shall I chose this seat or shall I avoid it? ...
