View Full Version : Transferring prizes won on gnomed accounts....completely hopeless?

So it appears that I have won an EPT prize package...only problem is that technically my wife won it. (She just happens to be a natural who dove headlong into the 20/40 games in her first month of playing online:).

Pretty sure that most sites have rules that these types of prize packages are non-transferable. Empire probably does too.

Without lecturing me on the ethics of gnoming, nor the idiocy of me actually entering a MTT with my wife's user name knowing that the prize was non-transferable, do any of you have suggestions for ways to swing this? Hey, I want her to be my guest on this thing, but I obviously want to play...anyone ever had any success with this type of switch? I'm sure EMpire has prob already heard a number of different "I have a business trip, can my husband go in my stead" type of excuses and are familiar with the game.

Hey, I'd even take just the cash equivalent of this prize package, but I don't think they'd go for that either.

come up swith a story to tell lee (i assumed this was on stars) as to why she can't go. if you're nice you can get him to give you the W% for it. And then you can transfer that W$ to your account, and aslong as you have like 10,000 lifetime FPP's or something you can buyin to the EPT event with those.

Lose the birth-control. I dont think pregnant women can be expected to fly. You get a baby and a EPT trip, everyone wins!

good luck! Sorry but haven't heard of too many success stories on that front.

Oops - mistyped: it was a WPT prize package (on Empire, not stars) (why would anyone gnome a stars acct w/o RB)??
