I had played six hands with villain and hadn't seen a hand of his in that time, unsurprisingly.
In this hand I called for the implied odds if I spiked a set but I thought I had the best hand when the flop was checked around and the turn and river made me even more confident. However, I didn't want to risk losing a big(ger) pot to TT or maybe JJ (the two hands villain could have played this way) so I became a calling station. Although I was tempted to push to see if I could get someone with weaker holdings come along thinking we were both playing the board. (I would have done that with the case King, but that's neither here nor there). Comments?
