Hmmm... I'll have to ponder it this time.

Would be an automatic yes if it weren't only 10 days. Or if I still had access to those glorious microlimit tables >_>

Are they going to ban my account if I take them up on their offer and play for this bonus? You know Empire likes to ban people who respond to their advertising e-mails and then go and play on their site. /images/graemlins/smirk.gif

It clears super fast playing 25NL

I just did the IGMPAY bonus on the 4 x-skins last week. 5x on all except 7x on Intertops. Playing NL50 cleared each 5x bonus in 1 day, 7x ran over to 2 days. So 10x 10 days is still no problem there playing NL.

The only problem is there was almost always only 0 or 1 10-full table. The rest were 6-max. So if you don't do 6-max play, this would take significantly longer to clear.

if I've never signed up for empire before, does this mean I could clear this bonus at the beginner tables? what limits do they have?

I played Empire a lot up until it turned too rocky. Last there in November, 05 and played a 5x bonus and only left with my deposit plus a small amount of the bonus. It truly has become a rock garden. I have seen a few others post differently about Empire, but after 100k hands at that site, I should be able to notice the difference since the Party split.

As far as I know, there are no beginner's tables.

The stakes are similar (identical?) to Party...minimum is .50/$1 limit for instance.

They have the same set up as party with the beginner tables. I'm not sure you will find much action there though.

Let's see... Do I hate myself enough to grind this one out? Not likely.......

I just had a 20TO100 offer from Empire and it cleared fast at NL.

I'm doing this one too.

Not great but good, they still have rakeback and the bonus is a nearly sure + EV

The NL25 tables on empire are noticably tighter then on party, but their still not exactly filled with with very good players. So while u may not have someone calling 80% of the flops, u still run across person an occasion whos willing to risk their stack with top pair and a jack or 10 kicker. Many of the players who i ask why they play there they answered that they enjoy playing people who know how to play. While playing there and clearing the deposit bonus (500 raked hands) i ended up winning 44$ w/o the bonus. So while this makes the games there far less then appetising, its still clearly +EV and some easy money if you have any sort of ability to play NL.

Actually it turns out (thx to pokertracker) i was about $150 up through play (135 was 6-max, 15 was full) for 500 hands on empire playing 25NL. At Pokernow (same playerbase) I was $55 up after 700 raked hands. I am in no way an awsome NL player, so I will definitly be taking them up on the newyears bonus.

look for "amrinaldi" he will pay you off and mak this worth while. Might want to wait a few days...I skinned him last night.

He now only plays limit because he was losing his ass at no limit. Saw him re-buy ten or twelve times one night playing the NL50 tables. He would bet 5 bucks on pre-flop, then another 5 post flop, and other 5 on the turn and all in on the river...then he would turn over like 2-9 offsuit and I have three aces. What an incredible moron. Easy money!!!

If they did something different like allow you to clear bonuses through SNGs, I would come back.
