View Full Version : 6/12 B&M Hand

I rarely play limit and have never posted a limit hand before so here goes:
Hero is dealt 7d 7s
Canterbury 6/12
Folds to CO
CO Raises to 12
Hero on Button Re-Raises to 18
SB Calls, BB folds
CO Re-raises to 24
Hero calls, SB calls
Flop Jc Jd 2s
SB checks, CO bets, Hero raises
SB calls, CO calls
Turn Qd
SB checks, CO bets, Hero checks
River 7h
SB bets, CO calls, Hero raises, SB calls, CO calls

I'm not a great limit player so I was hoping to get some help on this hand. Any advice is appreciated.

It's hard to fault you for how you played the hand. If you think the CO is a typical over-aggressive player, you should raise the flop like you did. If you think the CO is just plain solid, you should fold the flop instead. That's because if the CO is over-aggressive, he is probably over-sensitive to players "re-stealing" when he tries to steal the blinds--so he may not have a hand.

Call pre-flop, fold turn if CO bets.

i like that too, as he may be spite capping it preflop as yerma pointed out...if that's the case raising flop is my line also
