PokerTracker and Gmail

I can't seem to set up my POP3 stuff on PokerTracker to work with my Gmail account.

I put the correct server name in and the correct port, (at least, these numbers are the same as my Thunderbird settings for my Gmail), but I keep getting the big donut.

It says, "Unable to connect to the mail server. The specified operation has timed out".

You guys have any tips?

username without @gmail.com

use secure connection CHECKED

It was a PITA when I set it up, I can't remember my exact problem... thinking it was the username

username WITH @gmail.com
so if your email is cold_cash@gmail.com, your PT POP3 gmail username would be "cold_cash@gmail.com"

I never thought of this as a PITA, relatively easy to set up.

Just check the pop3 help on gmail.

yeah, that's what it was... my username won't work if I include the @gmail.com although the FAQ says it does. I have a . in mine, it may make some difference.
