Forgive me if this is in the wrong forum, I just didn't know if this belongs in Micro Limits, or in Small Stakes Short-Handed. Since most posts relate to 3/6 and 5/10 there, I decided to post this here in the Micro Limits forum.

Value bet the river?

Hand 1:
MP is very loose passive. My instinct tells me to make the value-bet here however with only a 10-high flush, 4 cards that can beat me here I'm lost as what to do. I don't see villain having the A/images/graemlins/spade.gif, maybe just as unlikely the K/images/graemlins/spade.gif, but I can see him having Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif or J/images/graemlins/spade.gif.

SB checks, Hero bets, MP calls, SB calls.

Turn: (6.50 BB) J/images/graemlins/spade.gif [color=#0000FF](3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, MP calls, SB folds.

River: (8.50 BB) T/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
Hero ???

Hand 2:
UTG is new to table on no reads. SB is loose passive. With UTG still behind me and no clue as what he would do I'm hesitant to make the value-bet there with the flush draw completing on the river. I putting UTG on A/images/graemlins/diamond.gifK/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, JJ, KK, or AA given the PF action. SB is likely holding a FD, SD, a set (unlikely -- he would have raised or c/r on the flop or the turn) or even AT.

Hand 1 - I'd c/c the river

Hand 2 - UTG raised UTG and capped pre-flop so i'm not putting him on a flush draw. I'm putting him on AA, KK, JJ, or 1010. 3 out of 4 beats you. Yeah, he could have a AdKd or KdQd, but that's not my first thought. If so, then that's more beats against you. I'd c/c the river unless SB starts raising. SB seems like a calling station though. And he would have bet the river had he hit... unless he's a tard.

I have seen a lot of people cap at Party 0.5/1 with a lot less than AA-QQ or AKs, especially 6-max. I would tend to value bet this.
