SB is 54/19/1.5 after 42 hands

I know open limping is bad in general, this table had been pretty loose, typically 4-6 players to the flop and there was extra money in from the CO posting. The only 1 doing any real raising had been the SB.

Looks normal to me.

Open limping isn't a bad thing when you're sitting at a table with 9 other people and are in early position with a mid-pair.

I don't think I'm raising that flop, but as you played it I would have checked that turn. Why raise if you don't take the free card when it's given to you? Especially since SB might have overcards that the K might have hit.

Urrrgh, who ever said this? This ain't 6-max, an early pos limp w/ 77 is fine.

That said I'm not sure what the flop raise was supposed to accomplish, and I'm rather sure that the turn was just spew.

Because hero probably has the best hand.

The fact that SB might have had overcards on the flop is a reason to bet not check the turn.

I raised because I thought I may have the best hand against the SB who has raised 19% of his hands. My 7s might be best, I have a GSSD and BDFD even though it's incredibly weak.

There are tons of overcards I'd like to see fold, I'd also like to get rid of high singleton spades.

I wanted to thin the field as much as possible.

The play on this hand isn't easy for me, the overcard on the flop and the overcard on the turn make me want to puke, I wanted to make sure this play is ok and I'm not overplaying my hand.

I'd like this much better if we were heads up.

I like it.

PF - open-limp is fine. Calling the raise is fine.

Flop - I like the raise. Punish overcards for drawing, value-bet your 2nd pair, redraw with a gutshot.

Turn - I'm not sure about the turn bet. You might get a 9 to fold, but it's a potential minefield. I think I take the free card here since you're probably behind and drawing to ~4 outs (gotta discount the 2 set outs and the 8/images/graemlins/spade.gif).

River - automatic bet (and cap if you're getting action headsup from the PFR).
