Emergency exit row. So much leg room. So good.

this was an option for me. the extra leg room is nice but no different than sticking your legs out in the aisle if you are in an aisle seat.

But you always end up on the flight where the attendants just walk up and down, up and down....

Where's the option for 1st Class/Upper/Business.....>?

obviously everyone would prefer to be in first class. I took this option out assuming that 95% of the people in here travel coach.

Front is always superior to back, as it will be less noisy, being in front of the engines. Additionally, the air is circulated from the front, so has less carbon dioxide. Finally, should a 'Lost' situation occur, you're on the island not at the bottom of the ocean.

Short haul I prefer aisle, long haul window (aisle not so great on long haul or a flight where you want to rest as u have to get up lots more to let the other seats go to bathroom or stretch legs etc).

Aisle Exit Row.

Also if you take the exit row and are less than 6'2" you are a douche bag and should die.

Why is middle even an option?

In case you usually fly on planes filled with swimsuit models?

It depends on the length of the flight. When I fly anywhere in Western Europe, window as the flight's not long and the view is cool. If it's transatlantic, I don't want to disturb the people sitting next to me whenever I need to take a slash, but I also don't want to hold it in, so aisle.

Front 1/3. Other than that I don't care as long as I'm not having to share a row of seats with someone fat.

Masked Man,

I do, almost always 2 hours before the flight is scheduled to leave. I do however find it annoying that I must alter my schedule because some imbecile who is 5'8" wants exit row seating.

Punctually,

I didn't fly very often before this year. In about June I realized the closer to the front you are, the sooner you get off the plane (pretty simple).

I like the aisle because I have a bladder like a 7 year old girl and don't want to bother people or wake them up to use the restroom. Especially if I drank a lot in the airport.

Aisle bulkhead seat. You neve have to worryabout the passenger in front of you reclining his seat and there'd plenty of leg room. Only con is that bag has to go up top.

Very cool site regarding this can be found here. (http://www.seatguru.com/index.php)

Some exit rows don't recline which blows. Also, be very aware of the seats in front of the exit as they never recline. Yuck.

"Also, be very aware of the seats in front of the exit as they never recline. Yuck."

On the Airbuses that JetBlue uses, the flight attendants unlock the backs of the exit rows and the ones in front when the plane is at cruising altitute.

aisle bulkhead for room

front if your connection time is short

back for less noise and saftey

over wing is safest i think but too noisy

middle seat so i can take both armrests and make the fat people suffer the most.

The arms down doesn't bother me, but being a fat-ass takes it's toll on your knees, and I need to be able to keep my legs stretched out from time to time to prevent them from hurting.

Aisle - I don't care what row as long as it is not in the very back. I hate sitting close to the bathrooms. and i hate people that steal the arm rest. It's MINE!!

kipin,

Book ahead on airlines that allow you to book the exit seat. This may require a call to a reservations agent and an explanation of your special needs. But, unless you plan ahead for your special needs, I will enjoy stretching myself out in the exit row seat.

I prefer aisle seats, row depends on what SeatGuru.com (http://www.seatguru.com/index.php) tells me.

I love underbooked flights so you can lie across 4 seats without being bothered.

Other than that, I'll take the window seat - that way you don't get bothered when other people go to the bathroom.

Window, front.

Early exit at arrival, and by the window I don't have to get up every time some peanut bladder goes to the head.

In front if the emergency exit = no recline = teh suck.
