Venues for Stud in LV

I'm leaving for my first Las Vegas experience from New Orleans tomorrow morning for New Years festivities, poker sessions, and general debauchery and philandering.

Anyone with experience in LV know any good poker rooms with good stud games? Any other OT general advice/knowledge welcomed.

Not sure what limits you are looking for, but overall stud in Las Vegas is sparse. So basically, I will just recommend the Bellagio. Usually they have 20/40, 40/80 going. Not usually lower.

At the Mirage, you might find $15/30 and maybe $5/10 or $10/20. But there are times when no stud games are going on there.

A lot of Holdem going on, but stud has been in a major decline here for the past 5 years, with many former stud players now playing holdem.

No matter, I'm sure I'll have plenty to do besides gaming /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Like I said, you might occasionaly have those limits going on at mirage.

But like you said, there's plenty to do in town.
