hey guys,
i got an iPod for christmas, but suck at technology. Is there anyway to hook up my iPod to my reciever and play it through my reciever and speakers? I know you can buy a iPod specific speaker, but would like to be able to hook it up to my normal reciever and speakers if possible. Thanks in advance for any help.

no not really, my reciever is hooked up to my tv, which is in a different room than my computer. I want to be able to hook the ipod up to this reciever as well.

Tons of options. (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/72901/wo/32iWGR8TtCwO2z5FBURJMQQ4pYN/0.SLID?nclm=iPodCablesandDocks&mco=E4439E97)

If you do not want to order online or have an apple store nearby, radio shack is your easiest option.

Yeah, the easiest way would probably be to just head to RadioShack and buy a cable with composite audio plugs on one side (the red and white ones) to plug into the back of the receiver and a 1/8" mini audio plug to use with either the dock output (probably the best choice) or the iPod headphone jack. It will probably be like 5 bucks.

This is sort of a semi hijack, but does anyone know what exactly the exchange policy on Nanos is? I got one about 2 months ago, and they say its supposed to loast 14 hours, and it only seems to last like ~5.

Its called a Y-adapter.
AKA 'RCA to MINI'

Plug the mini end into the headphone jack and the rca's into an open slot on the reciever. Crank it up and enjoy.
