For those of you that didn't know, I have a small non cancerous brain tumor in my pituitary gland. As you can see, I have my location as "Better than a brain tumor!" What I am looking for is an avatar that goes cleverly with this location. I can't really think of anything.

Oh and here:

I like this one the best. What show is it from maybe I can rip an animated version. Or I could just make his mouth open and close.

It's from Family Guy, I don't remember which episode, one of the fairly new ones (series 4 or 5, I'm fairly sure). Brian and Lois are on the couch I think and Brian asks if she ever gets annoyed with Peter or something like that, and she replies something along the lines of yeah, but she represses it, what's the worst that could happen? and then it cuts to the shot of the brain singing "i'm a tumor i'm a tumor, i'm a tumor i'm a tumor, oooooooooh i'm a tumor."

I gotta say, the Androgel the doc put me on when I was first diagnosed with my prolactinoma (what it sounds like you have) was really great. I was almost sorry when the weekly medication they put me on had shrunk down the tumor enough that I could come off the testosterone. It was like being 18 again. Side effects? My wife is due to give birth next month at age 41. /images/graemlins/blush.gif

Family Guy season 4, the "Petarded" episode. It's in the first third of the episode.

Are you sure it's such a good idea to have a tumor-related avatar? You really want to be reminded of it every time you log onto 2+2?

I agree with what someone else said, your "Rebuy" avatar was cool.

p.s. Who is that in the pic? Audrey?

Yea, I don't mind to be reminded of it every time. It's not like the tumor is dangerous or a major health problem and I think it's kinda funny /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Also, while I like the family guy brain thing, I think i'm gonna have to go with Arnold gettin high with the loc "It's not a tumah!" I really like that line from kindergarten cop and while the avatar isn't arnold from that movie, it suits me for other reasons /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Thanks again Stuey, you own /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Also, thanks everyone who liked the rebuy thing, but since I don't post much actual poker content anymore, I decided I'd take something non poker related as my avatar.

Wow, where/how did you find that clip so (seemingly) quickly and easily?

Downloaded the whole episode from a not to be mentioned source. Clipped out the part I wanted with windows movie maker, converted it to a .gif and edited it in imageready. Just got lucky and found the video easy as New001 told me exactly what to look. Normally does not go this smooth.

Now that I understand the arnold one though it is clearly better. I never remembered him saying that in the movie. Classic

That is Natalie Portman. From the movie "Closer" in a scene where she works in a strip club. It's a really good movie but it makes me uncomfortable every time I watch it.

PS. As someone who is addicted to Audrey (I assume you mean Hepburn) I must say Audrey would never have pink hair

PPS: this makes me want an Audrey Avatar where she has pink hair, sending out the stuey signal.

It is a prolactinoma and I've been on the medicine for while. I just went in 2 weeks ago and got more bloodwork done to see how it is affecting things, and am still awaiting the results. I was just happy that the tumor was too small to require surgery, but that medicine is pretty damn expensive. I don't think I was put on testosterone, so I didn't get any of those side affects /images/graemlins/wink.gif

You are truely a god among men.

I tried to do it but my photoshop skills made it look like a blob on her head. Thanx

I thought that was a very well done movie but I absolutely hate it. A girl friend of mine loves it because she thinks it's accurate, but she has been screwed over too many times to count. I don't like her watching it because it reinforces her views. There are good, honest people in the world and relationships can work out smooth and wonderfully. And this movie makes me want to kill every main character because they are all evil selfish people. I do like Natalie Portman though.

The meds (I suspect you are taking Dostinex 1-2x weekly) are REALLY expensive, but well worth it. They put you on testosterone if your levels are low (trust me, you'd know by your irritibility and the sad look on your penis' face). As I understand it, surgery for this is usually not needed, as the meds shrink the tumor down.
