Boris, head North for bigger fish

Upper Sac. Fall River, Hat Ck and many other fine waters.

Even further: Stillaguamish, Yakima, Nooksack.

yea one of these days I'll get up there. North is a long ways away though. I've heard about good fish in the Fall and the Hat. I've also heard that they get alot of pressure and the fish are sneaky and smart. From what I understand the upper sac is starting to recover quite well from train accident/chemical spill that ruined the fishing for awhile.


I'm thinking of going in search of the Golden Trout over the July 4th weekend.

I wish I was a fan of the long rod when I lived in the area. I camped on the Skagit and made a feeble attempt to catch fish, had no clue how to do it. The late 60s was a great time and knowing how to fish would have made it even better.

High country lakes for goldens?
