Ok so I play NL50 6 max and have a LAG style.

Something like 41.56/17.6/3.51

I am pretty successful at this limit and want to move up to NL100 6 max. I have never played this game before and don't know if my LAG style would be effective there.

So my question is what is the difference between NL50 6 max and NL100 6 max on Party (if any) and would a LAG style work at that limit? Are players generally way more agressive at 100NL 6 max?

that's way too high. laggy should be no more than 28-31%. how many hands have you been the above? what's your ptb/100?

14k hands and 12.9ptbb/100

I'm typically TAG but recently have worked some LAG into my game and I play 100NL so I suppose I can throw my opinion in here.

You will find a lot more aggression at 100NL in general, but that's not to say that the average player is aggressive here -- still tonnes of loose passives. You will however find more players who can adapt to your style and exploit you, so you've got to be paying a bit more attention to the table.

Yes, there are some good players at 100NL. Lot of straightforward TAG's, and a couple good LAG's. If you're a good LAG, you'll do great.

GL, and stay the hell away from my tables because I hate playing good LAG's /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Nah, usually it means what it does at the lower limits (monster hand)... but players who adapt to your style will certainly do it to isolate you.

bull.
there is no perfect vp£ip.
different playing styles may be equally profitable.

In Whitelime's Mid-High advice to SSNL's series he specifically mentioned that there are regular winners with 50/20 at the 5/10NL games.

Be warned that you shouldn't automatically assume that because a certain player's VPIP is over 30, he is a fish. There is a wide range of styles with which people can play profitably. Believe it or not, there are 50/20's who are winning players at 5/10NL and 10/20NL. However, like most things, you are playing the numbers game. Chances are that a player with a VPIP of 50 is much more likely to be a loser than a player with a VPIP of 15.

oh man i feast on players with numbers like these at 100nl.

i would suggest being a little more selective with the hands you play. i rarely see someone with a vpip of over 30% be profitable over time.
