LAG trying to move up - need advice

Ok so I play NL50 6 max and have a LAG style.

Something like 41.56/17.6/3.51

I am pretty successful at this limit and want to move up to NL100 6 max. I have never played this game before and don't know if my LAG style would be effective there.

So my question is what is the difference between NL50 6 max and NL100 6 max on Party (if any) and would a LAG style work at that limit? Are players generally way more agressive at 100NL 6 max?

I'm typically TAG but recently have worked some LAG into my game and I play 100NL so I suppose I can throw my opinion in here.

You will find a lot more aggression at 100NL in general, but that's not to say that the average player is aggressive here -- still tonnes of loose passives. You will however find more players who can adapt to your style and exploit you, so you've got to be paying a bit more attention to the table.

Yes, there are some good players at 100NL. Lot of straightforward TAG's, and a couple good LAG's. If you're a good LAG, you'll do great.

GL, and stay the hell away from my tables because I hate playing good LAG's /images/graemlins/smile.gif

are there alot more reraises preflop at 100NL 6 max? because that is the one thing i am really afraid of (as i raise with garbage alot)

Nah, usually it means what it does at the lower limits (monster hand)... but players who adapt to your style will certainly do it to isolate you.

different playing styles may be equally profitable.

In Whitelime's Mid-High advice to SSNL's series he specifically mentioned that there are regular winners with 50/20 at the 5/10NL games.

oh man i feast on players with numbers like these at 100nl.

i would suggest being a little more selective with the hands you play. i rarely see someone with a vpip of over 30% be profitable over time.
