Mine are:

Kiss at the end of the rainbow - Mitch + Mickey (from the soundtrack of 'A Mighty Wind' - I'm not kidding!)
Fairytale of New York - Pogues + Kirsty MacColl
Some Velvet Morning - Nancy Sinatra + Lee Hazelwood

I ask, cos I think a typical duet song is terrible, and I wanna try and remember/get to know a few more good ones.

yours?

Also, in a weird twist, while I hate just about everything Death Cab for Cutie or Rilo Kiley, Ben Gibbard and Jenny Lewis - Nothing Better is pretty good, if only to hear Jenny Lewis bitchslap Ben Gibbard for being a stupid emo bitch.

You are my sunshine is one of my favourites (I like Marge Simpson's version best), but this sounds fan-frakin-awesome. I want it!

Didn't even think about them. Initially I was totally stumped, since I listen to so few duets. Usually duets are cheesy get togethers with stars who don't usually work together, or even grotesque plays like Natalie Cole singing a "duet" with her dead dad to scrape up a few bucks. S&G never even came to mind.

Good call though.
