Hi,

How much should you make if you play NL50 per 100 hands to be an over average successful player? 30-40k hands.

Anything above negative is being successful.

Just MHO, but if you are a successful player there is no reason to be at NL50 for anywhere near 30-40k hands. NL100 plays nearly the same and you will win the proper roll for NL100 in a short time at NL50 with any kind of decent winrate.

Yeah, I have played around 20k hands on 50nl since I started. Guess I could play 100NL or even 200NL in some peoples eyes. But I play very aggressive, and am still learning so I don't wan't to "feel" anything when i'm outdrawn or making a bad play. I wan't to have 50xbuy-in atleast. Is that to much?

But I've have looked into that winrate thing here on the forum and now know a little bit where I stand. So actually nothing more to discuss here.

Thanks for your replies.

50x buy-in is fine - I use 40x myself.
You should move up when you feel ready and don't let peer pressure rush you into 'taking a shot' before you are ready - learning to play poker well is a marathon not a sprint...
