I'm considering playing in a live re-buy and add-on tourney in a couple hours. Are there any basic strategies in terms of EV as when to re-buy or add-on? Always do it when you can? Any basic guidlines would help.

Read the FAQ. There are some basic comments there and that's all you're pretty much asking for.

OK, thanks. I was hoping for a little more quantitative rationale, but that was good for the basic ideas.
