co posts a bb.
button, who seems semi taggish but not many hands on him 3bets.
2/3 blind structure
You have a9o in the sb. BB probably wont fold for 1 bet.
what do you do?
Suppose you somehow see the flop, and its JJ5 2spades, you have no spades. Now what.

I dont think the 2/3 makes up for this. Im folding. Granted any decent poster should raise anythng here, and so a good button will be 3 betting a lot lighter, but I still dont get wet about A9o here.

some1 delete my post b4 every1 laughs at me!
seriously, why couldnt OP just say CO raises instead of sneakily implying it?
ok, now i need AQo/AJs (and id make it four to try and get HU)
does KQs or KQo do as well? What about 99 - do you cap?

[/ QUOTE ]i would cap KQs and 88 most likely, fold KQo/KJs/77... id never flat call because you really want to give the CO a chance to fold.
of course timing tells, recent history and other stuff are factors...
generally, i find folding KQs before the flop in SHLHE game to be very difficult... haha.

this was the source of my earlier confusion in this thread.
I mispoke there. At first I was thinking about a raise-3bet and then I suppose something along the lines of there only being a button raise.
Confusion is my fault not yours, either way both posts of yours are valid in their respective cirumstances
