Hey I wondered if I made the right play here. My bubble play is right now the weakest spot in my play right now. Was this play correct?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (4 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

BB (t4185)
UTG (t5290)
Hero (t3020)
SB (t1005)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, K/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
1 fold, Hero raises to t450, SB raises to t1005, 1 fold, Hero calls t555.

Flop: (t2160) 9/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)

Turn: (t2160) 8/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)

River: (t2160) 8/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)

Final Pot: t2160

if you are going to make that raise then the call is easy with over 3:1 odds.

The call is fine, you are getting about 3-1 pot odds.

Sigh, I think you have to....I hate spots like this though, it always seems like the other dude has 99+,AK-KT.

You're getting about 3:1 pot odds AND you will have 12ish BBs left even if you lose. Easy call.

Yeh you have to call, which is why you might as well push.

I have two concerns: (1) that you would even ask that question, and (2) that this easy call bothered you enough for you to post a thread about it.

As stated, pushing at these blinds into that BB is suicidal, horrificly bad play.

And, you have to work on letting go of hands. You have 12ish BBs left if (when) you lost this hand. This hand should have immediately been dumped from your memory banks and you should have been on to getting ITM with your 12BB stack.

Yah you have to call, your odds are too good.

Also if you fold here you will probably start getting played back at a lot.

I thought hero was sb and shortie was bb.
