View Full Version : Feature to see old posts?
Does the forum stop producing posts from a month ago? Is there a feature where I can view posts from 1-2 years ago?

Archive Forums (http://archiveserver.twoplustwo.com/ubbthreads.php)
You have to search or use the "Next" and "Previous" buttons to navigate, though.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong but when I access it I go to the main index and every post is on 7/14, yet when I click a specific forum there is no posts at all.
Also, if I go to search, even a simple word like "poker" I get zero matches.
Am I doing something wrong?

That's normal. As I said, you have to use the search or the "Next" and "Previous" buttons to navigate.

Try searching specific forums while using the maximum date range. That usually works.

Yes, the archive needs serious help. It needs to be searchable and there needs to be a link from the main forum index to the archive.

Ah, but it is searchable. As I said, sometimes it's necessary to use the maximum date range and be very specific in the other boxes.
There is already a link to the archive in the green bar on the left, and it's pretty easy to bookmark it once you have the link. Because it's not an active forum, I think the link on the left is just fine.
