I don't know what is going on but I have had some good experience with folding in this spot.

I have no idea, but tptk cannot be good here.

there are two folks in this hand who seem like what they're holding... could one be [censored] and the other be AQ? sure, it's possible, but you could also be pwned. i say lay it down.

anybody re-raise the flop to eliminate a few of these players, and/or for information

This is why you I think you should lead the flop for the pot. You have put yourself in a weird situation where getting any information about if your hand is good or not is going to cost you too much money.

Fold here but leading this flop for the pot is a much better idea than the line you have chosen.

Of course if you were planning on check/calling and leading a blank turn I can kind of understand, you need to protect your hand and find out where it is so lead the flop for the pot.

sometimes...if I feel like it and have a deep enough stack..I'd put in a raise and insta-fold to almost any re-raises... I've been surprised how often I win the hand this way...

sometimes...I'll cold-call and play the 'ol WA/WB game...

but mostly I think I fold there...(and then get pissed at the trash that shows down -or- pat myself on the back for my good laydown.)

i didn't plan on check calling. i planned on checkraising the preflop raiser. but then when it was bet, then raised before action even got to the preflop raiser, i had to question if my hand was even good.
