yea, looks pretty good to me. What's the plan if you run into further aggression on the flop or turn?

Hmm....that min raise to me screams a made flush at first, but then he slows down. Its pretty obvious you are gonna be in this till the end based on your flop action, but I think a better line here might be to call a flop and Hit non-diamond turn. I would also like to hear your plan for further aggresion as well.

further aggression I get it all-in on the flop if possible.

but that wasn't the "Do You See Why..."

upon further examination, you'll see it...

say it, even if its obvious!

I can't really say that I see why... did you get beat by quads?

Because... you want the button to come along and pay you off? What else are you gonna do here?

I see why I would bet/3bet the flop, particularly against unknowns. Reads would really help, like knowing if a check-raise here is a viable option. Against a very aggressive opponent that takes stabs at many small pots, particularly scary boards, I might go for the check-raise here, but I cringe at a free card, why not pot the flop and continue from there?

I respect your opinions and views Maulik, however, such a nebulous question will guarantee nebulous responses. I'm interesed to see what you're looking for here.

Best wishes,

Do you mean the call on the river instead of raising all in? Well if you want to state the obvious you may be trying to get the button to raise all in with the flush, or call with a weaker hand. I would raise all in if I thought he was on the flush though.

Can you explain your reasoning for c/r-ing this flop instead of leading? My usual is to lead here. Is it because you want to take it down now? Charge them bigger for draws?

I had a feeling with the Ace someone would bet the flop and I could play for a bigger pot and raise them more. Mostly a value play and ideally take it down on the flop.
