First I was confused as to why it didn't look funny at all. Then I realized I'm an idiot and it's Mel GIBSON, not Mel BROOKS. There we go.

I don't like the title but at least the natives aren't as [censored] scary as the ones from Kong.

You beat me to this thread. I just watched the trailer and I was confused as to what the [censored] I just watched. So I went over to its IMDb page and there is actually 1 still shot inserted into the trailer of Mel standing there looking like Sadaam Hussein. Its practically impossible to see at regular speed but I managed to catch it.

Why? Mel Gibson is a great director and the trailer makes it look like it's about one of the greatest civilizations the world has ever seen. I can't wait to see it.

this looks kind of very sweet. but I'm pretty sure the world didn't end several thousands of years ago, so unfortunately we already know the ending.

Well duh, it's about the downfall of either the Aztec or Mayan civilizations. It's about the journey not the destination for this one.
