Monitor Questions Due to PP Beta, etc

I know that there have been many posts on the the 2005's vs 2001's, and I apologize but I think my ??? is a little different.
Well, the wife and I exchanged gifts last night since we will be traveling for the holidays and she got me a Dell 2005FPW. Right now I five table on a small laptop monitor so I know this will be an improvement but I also know that the 2001 is 1600x1200 and is better. Now the question is with the pending switch of PP to the adjustable screens is it worth returning and paying the extra $200 or so to get the 2001, (I believe she got it the 2005 for $430 and the 2001's are $630 right now) or just suck it up for now wait til they fix the bugs and then use the table resizing feature with the 2005?
Does anyone currently have a 2005 and have a screen shot with 6 tables, how much overlap are we talking on 6? Also does anyone have a screen shot of the 2005 with the new resizable tables.

For the most part I play on Party with some action to Bodog. I am assuming at some point in time, I will move again, trying out Stars or UB if I have to.
I can see where that question is going though and why the 2001 would still be better. A very good point I had not even thought about.

She would be totally fine with me exchanging.

Poker isn't the only reason to have 1600x1200. It drives me crazy to work on a computer with lesser resolution now, I've been using 16x12 since 1999. I say get the 2001fp.
