Online tourney, $30+$3 SNG, close to bubble, I have an even stack. Get KK, woohoo!

One person raises, I push, and blinds call. Turns out they all have some form of Ax (A5, A7s, etc). Ok, no Ace, or give me a king!

I get a DREAM flop of K22!!! And I still lose, and they split my money. /images/graemlins/frown.gif WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Just thought I'd share. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I don't get it. 3 people called with Ax? Finish the story at least...

Also post in the brand new bad beats forum. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

Running 2s would be my guess.

So ur against 3 people w/ Ax and u get running aces? That's an odd deck my friend.

Can't be running aces. He said he was up against three players who all had Ax...and that they SPLIT his money. THE only way for this to happen with his hand, his opponents' hands, and the board is for two more 2's to hit the turn and river...this gives everyone quad 2's, Hero has a K kicker to all villains' A kicker.

I have to admit, this is a very crappy way to bust out. But hey, the chips went in preflop...PF you were just under 73% to win, giving you about 27% to bust out. That's higher odds to bust than you get when you're all-in AA vs. AK (and we've ALL busted out on stupid crap like that)...though I suppose here you would have eliminated/crippled everyone at the table and been a virtual lock for 1st. Going from 1st to 4th on a hand like this is crap.

Now post it in the right forum and I won't do it to you again.

He actually said

"One person raises, I push, and blinds call. Turns out they all have some form of Ax (A5, A7s, etc). Ok, no Ace, or give me a king!"

I.e. only the blinds called - not the original raiser - therefore it's still possible, no?

Only 3 in the pot. (OP) with KK, the blinds with Ax, running A's gives the blinds aces full.

This thread should not have this many views, and certainly no replies other than "Nobody gives a [censored]"

I only checked this out cause I saw Tigerite responded. Made me sad /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Sorry, original raiser calls too. Three players with Ax, so running 2's came. Where's the bad beat forum? /images/graemlins/smile.gif
