View Full Version : "Official" Live at the Bike thread (12/20) (300-500 NL)

Kevmath
12-20-2005, 09:55 PM
Tonight's show is the usual $300 min/$500 max buyin game with 5/5 blinds. For those who didn't make it thru last night's 8/16 limit game. The scheduled tournament with a $200 bounty on David Tuchman has been postponed until tomorrow night at 5pm PT. However, for those that want to listen to Bart and Shirley talk about poker, www.liveatthebike.com (http://www.liveatthebike.com) will have 3 hours of NL fun from 6-9pm PT. Still tentatively scheduled for tomorrow's 50/100 NL game is recent WPT final table participant Phil Laak.

anyone having streaming problems?

12-20-2005, 10:13 PM
Is anyone else having trouble viewing the broadcast? Mine is stopping every few seconds to buffer. And the video is mostly still. It's never done this to me before. I tried restarting it a few times, but no help.

Expect tomorrow to be a wild game. There should be a lot of different faces. For whatever reason some of the "regulars" had to be pushed aside for the newcomers.

12-20-2005, 10:18 PM
I just wanted to know if there will ever be a 500-1000 game at live at the bike again.

Bart and Shirley
I really have noticed the bitchyness and jealousy shown to Tuchman is unreal.Bart i like your comentary but you seem so threatened by Dave its not even true.Your glee when Dave played bad the other week and your uncomfortableness now is so funny.
First you say... oh i dont think Dave is going to get involved in the call.....then Dave calls and you start talking like it was an easy call...like he was pot committed. Then Shirley agrees ..yea yea... logical call.
Whatever....Dave made a good call....if you guys are so good...ante up and lets see you play.
I hope you take this in the right way... i like the show ...but jesus give Dave some respect, and Bart dont be so threatened!!!!!!

I just talked to Yosh, I had text paged him earlier with no answer. Apparently the game is "filled", but he will put me first on the list. That pretty much translates to "dream on white boy"

I thought Peter played better than that? The calls were horrendous. What did he put the guy on? Either raise or fold, but flat call all the way? Nice giveaway.

Good game russ. I thought I played it well except for my 86 vs k9 hand. Good thing I already have a promo buck. See you tomorrow.

Russ McGinley
12-20-2005, 11:03 PM
hey gg, heads up lasted a long time considering we lost 2 people on the first hand.

12-20-2005, 11:05 PM
Yeah, I guess the problem with heads up is you never got cowboys for me to crack. But in freeroll sngs you can expect a few people to be out the first hand.

Russ McGinley
12-20-2005, 11:06 PM
Actually I had KK, QQ, and JJ within a span of 4 hands there towards the end but they got little action.

12-20-2005, 11:08 PM
If you had told me you had KK I would have pushed since I had already cracked KK twice. I guess one of those pocket pairs was the time I told you I had 44 on the AA2 board...

12-20-2005, 11:09 PM
BART,

can you recommend any really classy strip joints around the bike for me?

I have a friend coming in from Japan (No he doesn't have a sister) and I need to take him to a classy joint after we lose all our money at the bike on Thursday...

Russ McGinley
12-20-2005, 11:09 PM
Yes that hand I had KK. Didn't want to see 1 ace but 2 was a welcome sight.

12-20-2005, 11:18 PM
surf, you playing in Thursday's game? My nephew is in from Chicago and we will be there too. I'll add your name to the list in the am if you want.

12-20-2005, 11:21 PM
I didn't ask Yosh who was playing but I bet they are BIG action players. He just told me he had one seat open but I gave it up. Goodluck getting a seat Barry. I am now starting to regret that I passed the seat up.

Hey all. I just got home from taking my mom shopping--she had a stroke and needs help getting around.

How is the game tonigh?

12-20-2005, 11:28 PM
I hope your Mom gets well soon, Mike.
Tuch is having a good night.

12-20-2005, 11:30 PM
Yosh rather have big names and the hype from these players, than my money, so I doubt I will get a seat. I will be there, but if no seat opens, find me at the 1K.

Thanks guys. My mom has exceeded all the doctor’s expectations and is as good as she will get.

On the other hand, if you do not mind, please say a prayer for my friend Al. On the way to the game last night, I got a call from his wife who told me they had just found more tumors in his brain. He was diagnosed with brain cancer three years ago and had two operations to remove the tumors. He is going to need additional surgery and the prognosis is looking pretty bad.

Thanks to all,

Michael
