Villian is really really loose, and tilting from losing two buyins very very recently. He has been betting a lot with air, but I don't know if he would 3-bet bluff.

Pokerstars 50NL 6-max

BB ($51.55)
UTG ($82.90)
MP ($54.05)
CO ($82.30)
Button ($49.25)
Hero ($58.80)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif, A/images/graemlins/club.gif.
UTG calls $0.50, MP calls $0.50, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2.5</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG calls $2, MP calls $2.

Preflop: I really should have bumped it to $3.25 or $3.50 here because of both limpers, but lets not comment on that.

Flop: ($8) 6/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $8</font>, UTG calls $8, MP folds.

Turn: ($24) Q/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>

Hero...? (He likely has K-high, or maybe A-high)

Sorry, its past the edit time. I missed some key info. On the turn I bet weakly, hoping that he'd try to bully me around.

Hero bets $5, UTG minraises... hero?

pop him up to 30 and stack him.

Well if you are sure that he only has ace or king high then a 3 bet would scare him off, so you should probably just call and let him bluff off the rest. But usually Mr. Tilterson could have any two cards and he'll probably pay off with his two pair, so then I would raise and try to get him to commit himself to the pot.

I think $5 is a little to weak bet about $10. It's still pretty weak and will leave him plenty of room to come over and commit him farther to the hand and make it easier for you to get it all in and stack him.

Make a real bet on the turn ($15-$20). That queen only scares him if he had A or KK. If he was calling the flop bet, he's calling the turn. This way you get it all-in on the river.

ugh - that bet is gross. bet more on the turn, i like something between $15-$20.

edit - as played, i'd 3-bet to $30ish on the turn

In retrospect I definately should have lead out for more, it makes the entire hand easier.

I popped it to $30 and he mucked.

Lesson learned; lead for more money, hope for a minraise then /images/graemlins/smile.gif
