I was recently diagnosed with Cubital Tunnel Syndrome, (similar to Carpal Tunnel except it's on the outside on your hand and it's not painful. In a couple more weeks, I'm going to have a nerve test and then back to the orthopedic doc to discuss my "options"

Anyone here have/had it? I've had it for almost 3 months now and the doctors that I've been going to really have nothing much helpful to say besides "don't bend your elbow".

I used to do animal research for a hand surgery group (Kleinert and Kutz, the ones who did the hand transplant surgery here in the US) and i am no expert on this by any stretch.
But, if I remeber correctly the surgery really isn't the way to go, it isn't as succesful as carpal tunnel releases. If they give you the cortisone and PT option, take it.
I haven't worked in this field for almost 10 years now and things may have changed a lot, but I would do some research.

A.R.T. (http://www.activerelease.com/) Check this out, try to find a provider in your area, and give it a shot before you do anything drastic like surgery. This stuff has amazing results for a lot of people with overuse injuries.
