Crap. How long until they are all gray? I'm only 33. Fortunately I usually keep my hair very short so it'll rarely be noticed until there are many more of them. How much time do I have until I start shopping for Grecian formula?

Do you have kids?

Chicks dig grey. That said, I started getting some in my mid 20's so /images/graemlins/tongue.gif to you. I just turned 35, and it still really isn't noticable yet. Why worry? Grecian Formula is the rally cap of middle age - either one makes you look like a tool.

I too am 33 and have been getting single grays for about 5-7 years. No need to fear they will all go gray overnite (or ever).

At 35, my goatee is about 20% gray. Got maybe a dozen strands around the temples.

No biggie, guys age well.
Be thankful you're not a chick...

Wait til you get the first gray pube hair. If that doesn't make you want to divorce the wife, buy a Z4 and get a gym membership, nothing will.

Just keep it cut short. I'm 38 and have a few grays on the sides. No worries. I think the young chicks associate gray hair with a sugar daddy so it's not all bad.

f it. i have a bunch now at 29...still not noticeable to anyone who isn't specifically looking for them...besides, it's better than going bald (no offense to those who are).

I'm 35 and I shave my head (see avatar). Do that and you dont have to worry about anything but dandruff.

I am 25 and I have had gray hairs for a few years. Big deal, its 100 times better than going bald. Alot of women dig gray hair.

I started going gray when I was 18, but I still have a fair amount of dark hair left (I'm 31). Every so often I buy some "Just For Men" and it takes care of it.

Be thankful the gray is only coming in now. You'll probably be well into your 40's before the gray outnumbers the dark.

I'm 30 and still don't have a gray hair yet. My oldest brother is 39, half bald and half gray. My other brother is 38 and just started to go gray on his temples.

I got my first grays at about 34. I am now 42 and my sideburns are just starting to gray up a little. Keeping the hair short is a must. I like my grays except for this odd long gray eyebrow hair that I have to pluck every two weeks.

Keep in mind after 30 years old its all downhill from here. I'm 35 years old and i have no gray hair but my scalp is thinning... /images/graemlins/frown.gif

I'm 24 and every time I get a haircut I find a half dozen gray hairs on the floor.

I'm 22 and my girlfriend has found 2 gray hairs on me. But the rest of my head is gorgeous and brown. I don't think you have to worry too much.

You mean the half that isn't bald is 100% grey, or half of the whole that isn't bald is grey (50%).

In other words is it: Grey 50%, bald 50%
OR Grey 25%, normal 25%, bald 50%?

FWIW, I think I have a couple greys. Can't really tell if it's just the lighting or what. But I'm mid-20's.

I have beautiful thick head of hair so grey won't bug me as much as losing it would. My brother is 29 and has no grey's, but his hairline is a bit receeded. My father was half-grey by age 30, and is now 55 with about 95% total coverage of 95% silver hair. In other words he's only 5% bald, and of the remaining hair, 95% of THAT is grey.
