Quick Question, Quick Answer!

Right now I have a 19in CRT, and I plan on getting a 2001fp. I need a new video card for 2 monitors, will this one work? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16814102627

I have the PCI express slot, 1 gb ram, yada yada. IF/When I plan to get 2 2001fps, can I plug one into the non-DVI slot or do I need 2 dvi slots. They make converters don't they?

Yes, that will work. The 2001FP works both with VGA and DVI, so no reason to get a converter.

Why not get one with two DVI ports? Why would you ever use a 2001FP without a digital connection?

Or just buy that one, then get a pci video card with DVI out on it for your second monitor.

VGA looks awful on this monitor (I have one and tested both connections)

Awful is overdoing it. You can see the difference, but it looks far from awful, it's easily good enough for normal work.
