View Full Version : Flop nuts vs 6 calling stations

Was hoping preflop raiser would raise my flop bet and knock out some draws, but the worst happened.

Could I have done anything different/better here?

I would cap turn.

I would also bet/3bet river.

The CO 3-bet a raise to him without ever showing aggression yet in the hand.

Maybe he turned a set. Maybe he has an 8. Does he have J8? Possibly (it is party 2/4), but that's the only hand that beats hero at this point. There are too many other possible holdings that your opponents could have that not capping turn, bet/3betting river is missing value with this many people in the hand.

He had J8, flopped an OESD, hit it on the turn. I see your point in pumping the pot for a possible split though(hopefully dragging a couple of 2 pair donkeys to the river)
