I posted this on the B&M forum, but didn't really get any viewers, and no answers, so i'll give it a shot here, sorry for the crosspost

I'm going to Tallinn for holidays in a couple of weeks time. There are a few cardrooms / casinos there, anyone played there? Any recomendations?

Any general info to give? Stakes, rake?
I am mostly interested in playing PL-holdem, allthough limit-HE or PL-omaha/Hi might do the trick as well...

Thanks in advance!
Dan

I haven't been there in a couple of years, but I think you're only shot is Casino Astoria-Palace. They have held poker tournaments there from time to time and I think when they do they also have live games available. Astoria-Palace is just outside of Old Tallinn.

You might want to check out the old submarine on display out by Pirita just a couple of minutes out of town. The Kalev Yacht Club, where I found the best room value, is also out that way. The Italian place inside the ancient monastery in old town isn't bad. Make sure you pick up the local guide written by some US expats for tons of stuff to do (name escapes me at the moment).

Thanks dude, i'll check Astoria out, see if i can find any games.

I'm sure we'll get out to Pirita, at least of the weather is ok, and have plenty of time to savor local restaurants...
