So I'm talking to one of my old high school friends who knows a good amount about probability (probably more than I do actually) but nothing about poker. I'm playing in a Party freeroll which basically means short stacks and lunatic play.

Me: [censored], got knocked out. KK vs. AQ
Him: Oh. I don't know anything about poker.
Me: I'm like a 70/30 favorite or so
Him: is that all? Doesn't that mean you lose almost one in three times?

"70/30 favorite? Is that all?" I'm going to remember that one.

nice post. Sure puts perspective in your mind when your thinking you deserve the pot b/c you were dealt a nice hand. Thats why it's called gamb00ling
