I'd lead for 3 or 3.50, he's probably drawing to something and you want him to keep chasing it. Hopefully, he'll hit it on the river and by then the pot will be big enough to get him all in. If he doesnt have a hand, you arent getting paid off anyhow, so you gotta keep building the pot.

Hmm, yeah in retrospect that's what I should have done. Instead I just checked the turn, he bet $1, and I smooth called. River came the ace of spades, and I went all-in (making it look like a bluff). He called with aces up (had Ac5c) and I got paid off anyhow, but I should've collected the money on fourth street while he was still drawing. It was lucky for me that a card that helped him hit on the river.

That's not a terrible line either. I'll either use that or raise quite hard when quads hit (this works better w/ 3 on the board) - good players have a hard time giving you credit for 1 card quads when you're raising hard before the river.

Personally, I bet 3.50 about 80% of the time there. You show agression on the flop and get callers. Turn comes and you stop all of a sudden. Looks too fishy to me, then again this is SSHE and people don't really care about your line, they just want their pair of aces lol. But I don't see what hand calls your flop raise and folds to a 3.50 on the turn.

In the interests of this, I'm potting the flop, 2/3 potting the turn, and 1/2 - potting the river (towards the high end unless villain is very likely to have hit his hand and raise, and otherwise wouldn't have to a pot sized bet)
