LOL, that's a tough one...

He should have raised preflop and he should have got a few more bets out of you on the turn.

Preflop you're better off folding 66 UTG. On the river you're dead to any A or K, so just just check/call and expect to lose. You could have gotten away alot cheaper than you did.

I'm with Barry on this one. The river was not worth going to war over, just check & call and move on...

Yep, they're right. When you're bet into on the river, just call. And fold 66 UTG preflop.

On the other hand, you did the right thing by not slowplaying on the flop and turn.

He made a significant mistake by not raising before the flop.

But you made a far worse series of errors on the river. What could you beat at that point?

So you played it worse.

I disagree with the other posters that his flat call on the turn was a mistake. He can't really put you on 66 and he has both other kings. Most of the time the player in your spot will be bluffing with a low pocket pair here. He wants to make sure to induce a bluff on the river. A river raise is also likely to be called by most players.

He played it fine other than his lack of a preflop raise. You clearly went insane on the river. What on earth were you thinking??

I like playing small pairs in EP in a loose passive game. Do you think it is a -EV play.

I think folding to a river raise, wouldn't be out of the question, three betting was just terrible, and then calling the last bet when you got fourbet, was also pretty bad.

I think that he played fine, he extracted the most he could, and then you gave him another two big bets, when you had your meltdown.

This is clearly +EV!

You, what is the point if 3-betting the river? You lose to an ace or a K. Flop was good for you, turn was good, river was terrible.

I knew it was a bad play, but I didn't realize how bad until I read these posts. I was on such a good run I guess I was suffering from some sort of backwards tilt?
