Button is passive, so when he 3-bets the turn, he means business. I think he is surely valuebetting this river. It sure doesn't look like either of you guys have a flush draw, so I don't see why he would be scared when it hits.

I would. It certainly looks like Button has a very strong hand so I see him betting the river most of the time. That way you can trap SB, too.

guys will chicken out a lot when that flush card hits, but it really looks like button either has a set or top 2 here. Sets and top 2 usually bet. I think a checkraise will work enough to be profitable

I think this is a very easy CR - and I imagine so do you. He checked it through huh? /images/graemlins/smile.gif

hi krishan, i would bet it unless i think the button is a solid player. most players arent solid even if they are aggro. i like your bet as a standard.

I bet this river cause i have seen those kind of players chicken out very frequently when the flush comes. I also believe that value betting is unknown to them..
You played the whole hand fine. A passive player will usually check any flush river after significant turn action, even if he has 2 pair or a set.

I disagree with c/r the river. Villain sounds like the kind of guy who will get nervous about the flush, EVEN with trips.

Normally I´d CR but Button is really passive, so I just bet.
Those were my thoughts too, though I think it´s a bit closer than you make it sound.

Are you disagreeing with me or did that quick reply mess up again? I think we pretty much said the same thing, but you got put under my reply for some reason.

I replied virtually simultaneously as you did, without seeing your post. I agree with what you said.
edit: I just looked at the time of our posts, and they show that I replied later. But I'm certain that I never saw your post when I made mine, so I think something is glitchy with the quick reply thingy.

I c/r because you didn't play your hand like a flush draw at all, and the villain obviously has a pretty good hand like 2 pair or trips he will most likely value bet.
