Why in the world would you check/raise that flop?

Figured on a limp with two suited cards or high connectors. Pot sized bet after an open limp, wanted to see what I may be up against. No flush draw, doubted against 2p, read the bet as "don't call, fold...."

So try to go for standard continuation bet, and be ready to muck it if reraised?

In order to qualify as a continuation bet, you would have had to raise preflop. Which, as a matter of fact, is probably a good idea.

So yea. On the flop either bet/fold or check/fold.
